Sunday Night Teams

These teams serve as Frontline Silver Spring’s “first impression” to make people feel welcome from the parking lot to their seat through greeting, ushering, set-up/tear-down, the welcome center and connect teams. Join the team and be one of the reasons visitors return to Frontline Silver Spring!

After Parties: Building community through food after service on the second Sunday of each month. This team plans, organizes, sets up, and tears down each After Party.
Requirements: Volunteers at least once a quarter.

Connect Meeting: Attends the connect meetings with the intention of meeting new comers and introducing them to the greater Frontline Silver Spring community by sharing ways to grow, connect, serve and share. These volunteers should then follow up with the people they meet throughout the coming weeks to ensure their smooth transition into our community.
Requirements: Volunteers at least one Sunday a month at the connect meeting and then follows up with the people they meet throughout the next three plus weeks.

Greeters: Are our first point of contact for our new comers. Their job is to provide a sincere smile, greet everyone who enters the theatre doors, and give them a bulletin.
Requirements: Volunteers at least one Sunday a month.

Production: Helps set up and tear down the theatre before and after the service.
Requirements: None needed! In fact you don’t need to know anything about sound. We’ll teach you everything you need to know.

Tellers: Count the offering during announcements and the very beginning of the message.
Requirements: Volunteers at least one Sunday a month. Background check is needed.

Ushers: Help seat people upon entering the theatre and take offering during announcements.
Requirements: Volunteers at least one Sunday a month. Background check is needed.

Welcome Center: Provides a welcoming environment for new comers by answering basic questions, providing literature about the church, and just being a friendly face for new comers to turn to.
Requirements: Volunteers at least one Sunday a month.
