Sunday’s Sermon
This past Sunday, John McGowan taught about “How Do I Pray When… I’ve Sinned.” Missed it? View the message now. During the sermon, John mentioned a daily prayer guide which you can find here. To prepare for this coming Sunday’s sermon make sure to read Psalm 63.

GI Haiti Fundraiser
Come and enjoy some baked goods, as a few of the master chefs from the GI Haiti Team are holding a bake sale this Sunday, May 20 after service. All donations will go to their trip which takes place in two weeks! You’ll have the chance to meet team members and hear about what they’ll be doing while in Haiti. No donation is too small or too big so come with your stomach empty and your pockets full!

Evangelism Team

Service Relocation
Next Sun., May 13 we will seek to worship the Lord at the Silver Spring Civic Building for our second and final week. Yes, you read that correctly! Service will be relocated to the Silver Spring Civic Building for next week only. We will still meet at the same time, 6:30pm, same date 5.13, just a different location and we need your help to get the word out!

Run With Team Jill’s House
Help celebrate children with special needs and renew their families by running the Marine Corps Marathon or 10K with Team Jill’s House! Men, join us for 10 weeks this summer on Thursdays starting June 7 – Aug. 9 as we study God’s Word, encourage one another and train for righteousness. Knowing our identity is in Christ, we will learn more about biblical manhood and challenge one another to live as Christian men. Men’s Summer Community will raise your spiritual intensity and help foster a deeper relationship with God. The summer will include Bible reading/memorization, prayer, and shooting things. Get pumped! Who: Every man!

What: A 10-week summer community (study, discussion, training, action)

- Interactive teaching
- Service opportunities
- Group activities (i.e. shooting range, paintball)
